We are excited to announce the return of the Tucker Rec Center's Fall Festival. This year's festival will be held on Saturday, October 8th from 10AM - 3PM and will feature Browning Courthouse Day, a community yard sale, our first food pantry drive and open houses hosted by some of our program leaders.

BROWNING CORTHOUSE DAY
Browning Courthouse will be open for tours thanks to the Tucker Historical Society and invites you to learn more about our communities' history. In addition, THS will also kick off their new campaign to raise funds to paint Tucker's historic Browning Courthouse.

COMMUNITY YARD SALE
Yard sale spaces are available for $20 with a donation to the food pantry and $25 without a donation. To encourage participants to register and pay early, the first ten (10) to sign up will get one (1) table included for use at the sale. 10x10 pop up tents will be allowed but must be weighted for safety. Set-up starts at 8AM on the day of the sale.

FOOD PANTRY DRIVE
The face of hunger is changing in Georgia. 28.2% of children in Georgia – 1 in 4 children – live in food insecure households, well above the national average of 21.4% This means that more than 700,780 children in Georgia have been hungry without access to food in our state. We'd like to ask our visitors and shoppers to remember the Tucker Rec Food Pantry and will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items for the Food Pantry as they prepare for the holiday season.

TUCKER REC OPEN HOUSE
We invite you to come learn more about what programs and classes are offered at the Rec Center by touring some of our facilities. Offerings range from wrestling, dance, and musical instruction to painting, pottery, gymnastics, and Taekwondo to weekly Bridge games, senior exercise and woodcarving.

We look forward to seeing you at our Fall Festival on Saturday, October 8th!
